Château La Martinette is located somewhat off the beaten track, nestling in a beautiful and unique landscape in the heart of the Var region on the banks of the Argens river. Founded in 1620, it is one of the oldest wine estates in Provence, yet it is constantly evolving to bring you exceptional wines!
Our 2020 vintage is available at the boutique with a new addition this year! To celebrate the estate’s 400th vintage, we have changed the visual identity of the label with the creation of a modern and sleek packaging for our Château range. With this new packaging, we are highlighting the history of the estate and more particularly the coat of arms of the Chieuse de Combaud family, who founded the place in 1620.
It is also a nod to the artist Ludovic Loreau, who has created a fresco in our boutique and whose elements are represented on this label. A new look that blends perfectly with the style of the estate’s wines. As for the 2020 vintage, our Château rosé cuvée is distinguished by its balance, its refreshing acidity and its minerality.
A whole year’s work to offer you the best of our terroir. We were looking forward to it...the 2020 vintage is now available in our store and it is organic! Our vineyard has obtained the Organic Agriculture label, after a three-year waiting period (conversion period necessary to obtain the AB label). This official certification indicates that our viticulture preserves as much as possible the balance of nature and confirms our approach to work for practices that are more respectful of the environment. Protecting the richness of biodiversity is one of our concerns, which is why we also work partly in biodynamics. It is important to strengthen the link between all the natural elements that make up our domain.
